As scuba divers, we love to see the beautiful colours of coral, and a lot of it can be found in Granada.

The ecological value of the area is unique thanks to its rich biodiversity and since 2015, the Punta de la Mona has been declared a Natural park.  However, despite these protective measures, the area is threatened by human activities and the coral ecosystem is damaged with hundreds of broken corals mainly due to the high concentration of abandoned fishing gear.
